She was born May 16, 1912, to Charles and Ida Ellen Hoffman Scott. She married James Jerry Saltsman who preceded her in death.
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. William (Norma) Reed of Greenfield, Mrs. Howard (Nancy) Waters of Wabash and Mrs. David (Joellen) Carnes of Johnstown, Iowa; a brother, Walter Scott of Walkerton; 26 grandchildren, 55 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
Three sons, one granddaughter, one great-granddaughter, one brother and four sisters preceded her in death.
