Ashley Denice Cox Turner, 35, of 434 N. Mountain Street Extension, Bl;acksburg, S. C. went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, July 7, 2018 at CHS-Cleveland.

Born in Gaffney, S.C. she was the daughter of Deborah Whitmire Davis (Calvin) of Gaffney and the late Dennis Wayne Cox.

She was employed by Milliken, loved her family, especially her children, loved animals and fishing. She was a member of Mt. Whitaker Baptist Church.

Surviving in addition to her mother and stepfather are two sons, Clay Turner and Waylon Turner, both of the home; a daughter, Marilyn Turner of the home; numerous cousins.

She was preceded in death by a son, Denny Austin Turner, her papa and grandma, Clyde & Myra Whitmire and her papa and nana, Howard & Edith Cox.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 until 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 12, 2018 at Blakely Funeral Home. Funeral services will immediately follow at 1:00 p.m. in the Blakely Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Michael D. Owens officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: Blacksburg High School Band, 201 W. Ramseur Drive, Blacksburg, S.C. 29702.

The family will be at the home of Daniel Turner, 205 S. Rutherford Street, Blacksburg.
