Steven Michael Sincox, 48, of Marshalltown, died on Monday, July 9, 2018, at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines. Funeral services at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home in Marshalltown.
Steven Michael Sincox was born on April 7, 1970 in Springfield, Illinois to Tom Sincox and Patricia Anderson Sincox. Steve attended Iowa State University and graduated in 1995 with a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering and became a licensed Professional Engineer.
On May 20, 1995, Steve married Colleen Tracey in Ottumwa, Iowa. Steve worked for the Marshalltown Water Works and in 2008 became the General Manager and CEO of the department. He was a member of the Rotary Club, Marshalltown Economic Development, East Marshall Boosters Club, and the United Way.
Steve enjoyed fixing and building things. He also liked to go camping, coach baseball, rock music, and ultimately loved the time he spent with his family.
Surviving are his wife of twenty-three years, Colleen; their children, Grant, Cayla, and Max; his father, Tom Sincox; brothers, Brian (Patti) Sincox of Ottumwa, and Brad (Randi) Sincox of Montezuma; and his mother and father-in-law, John and Elaine Tracey of Epworth, Iowa.
Steve was preceded in death by his mother, Patricia, and his brother-in-law and best friend, Terry Tracey.
