Mr. James Oliver "Jim" Judy, 80, of Petersburg, WV. died Thursday, July 5, 2018 at his home.

Mr. Judy, born in Smoke Hole, WV; was the son of the late Kermit Oliver Judy and Pearl Gladys Landis Judy. He was also preceded in death by a son, Daniel W. Judy; a brother, Randall K. Judy; a grandson, Cole Judy; a granddaughter, Savannah Donaldson.

He was a 1956 graduate of Petersburg High School and a Veteran of the U.S.Army. He was a member of the VFW Post 6454, American Legion Post 78 and an Independent Order of Odd Fellows in Petersburg. He retired as a bookkeeper from the A&P Grocery store in Petersburg, WV. After retirement, he took up wood working and lawn care. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Petersburg.

He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Juanita Carr Judy who he married on Dec. 15, 1960., a daughter, Jamie Ault (Duke) of Petersburg; three sisters, Carol Beck (Chuck) of Petersburg; Beverly Halterman (Gene) of Laurel Dale; and Dottie Oates (Jerry) of Petersburg; a brother, Gerald Judy pf Petersburg; 8 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren.
