Richard "Dickie" Hoffpauir. Following the path of the Methodist ministry in Louisiana, they made homes in Tioga, Franklin, Natchitoches, Alexandria, Metairie, Sulphur and their retirement home in Baton Rouge. Janet's involvement in the LA Methodist ministry included service as Conference President and Conference Treasurer. Her final and most proud career was as a Legislative Auditor for the State of Louisiana. Janet was a complex person with many interests and extraordinary talents. She was widely known as a formidable opponent at any board or online word game. She loved travel and mountains were always her favorite destination. Janet was preceded in death by her husband Rev. C. Richard Hoffpauir and her parents Paul and Betty Dutcher. She is survived by her sister Paula Walker and brother David Dutcher, their spouses, 2 nephews and wives and 2 great-nieces. A Celebration of Life service, followed by a Reception with the Family will be held at Blake at the Grove, 9511 Creekview Dr, Baton Rouge on Saturday, July 21, at 1:00 PM.
