Ellen Elmore passed away on July 10, 2018, at the age of 98 years.
Sarah Ellen Cotner was born on December 14, 1919, in Sebastian County, Arkansas to James Harrison "Jim" Cotner and Mattie "Ricie" (Varner) Cotner. She was the third of five children. She graduated from Mansfield High School in Mansfield, Arkansas. She married Paul Houston Elmore on January 20, 1940. They moved to Carlsbad, New Mexico, where they spent many happy years together.
Ellen was preceded in death by her husband Paul, and her sons Paul and Gary. She is survived by her son Steve of Santa Fe, as well as many loving nieces, nephews, grandchildren and friends.
