Joe was one of 11 children born to James Leonard and Anna Regina Clements. He married Linda on February 11, 1956, and together they had five children: Michael (Linda), Austin, TX; Steven (Janet) Jasper, MI; Cynthia (Jeff) Johnson, Riga, MI; Regina (Charles) Cory, Blissfield, MI; and Mark (Karyn) Columbiaville, MI.
Joe graduated from Blissfield High School and worked at Revco in Deerfield, MI, for 17 years. He served in the United States Army during the Korean War. After Revco closed, he graduated from Andrews Barber College in Toledo, OH, and then worked at Imperial Barbers in Toledo, OH, for 27 years. After retirement, Joe and Linda enjoyed traveling. Joe passed away at his home in Blissfield.
Visitation was held at the Anderson-Rudd Funeral Home, Blissfield, as well as prior to the funeral liturgy held at Light of Christ Catholic Parish (St. Peter['s) in Blissfield, the Rev. Jeff Poll officiating. Interment at the cemetery included military honors.
