Memorial services for Rosie Martha Hicks, 81, of Lampe, will be held at 11 a.m. April 26, 2014, at Our Lady of the Cove Catholic Church in Kimberling City with Father Allan Saunders officiating. Interment will be at Pinecrest Cemetery under the direction of Stumpff Funeral Home-South, Kimberling City.

She died April 19, 2014.

Rosie was born July 28, 1932, in Ransom, Kan., daughter of Frank and Catherine Flax.

She was a homemaker and had lived in the area since 1995, coming from Plano, Texas. She was a member of Our Lady of the Cove Catholic Church in Kimberling City.

Survivors include her husband, Walter Hicks; sons John Hicks, of Springfield, Joel Hicks, of Lima, Peru; daughter Julia Call, of Harlem, Ga.; brothers Paul Flax, of Hill City, Kan., Alfred Flax, of Wichita, Kan.; sisters Albertina Fehrbnbach, of Ness City, Kan., Agnes Richmeier, of WaKeeney, Kan.; and two grandchildren.
