Conred Fred Stier Sr. was born on June 12, 1877 in Newnan, Coweta County, Georgia. His parents were Frederick T. Stier born on January 8, 1832 in Rockingham County, North Carolina and Susan Frances Jackson born on January 18,1844 in Palmetto, Fulton County, Georgia. He married Mae Virginia Waldron in 1906 in Birmingham, Alabama. They were the parents of three children, Lily May, Conrad Fred Jr. and Frances Elizabeth.
