Orion was a bright, single young man who made his living as a farmer.
He is survived by his parents; four sisters, Miss Hettie Simmons and Miss Leah Simmons at home, Mrs. A.J. (Carrie) Propst, of North River, and Mrs. Ezra (Ada) Simmons of Centerville, Va; two brothers, David Loy and Harvey, still at home. He was preceded in death by his brother Addie, who died, April 9, 1907.
A graveside service for Mr. Simmons was preached recently by the Rev. Josiah Beverage.
The bereaved parents appreciate the kindness of their neighbors during this time of the loss of their loved one. A lending hand and a kind word of sympathy means so much to one in such trying times.
