Actor. Born Juan Andrés Yanis Chimaras Maury, he was one of the most popular Venezuelan actors of the 1980s and 1990s, and well known in all Latin America for his roles in television soap operas. He appeared in more than 20 soap operas, including "Luisana Mía", "Elizabeth", "La Salvaje", "Piel", "Amantes de Luna Llena", and "Ciudad Bendita", among others. He also participated in nine movies like "Cangrejo", "Colt Comando 5.57", "Retén de Catia", "Amaneció de Golpe" and others. Death cause. He was stabbed to death by a robber.
