Lugoff - E. Kenneth Drawdy, 64, died Saturday. Born in Orangeburg County, he was a son of Mrs. A. F. Drawdy and the late A. F. Drawdy. He was a 1949 graduate of The Citadel and a member of Tau Beta Phi fraternity. He was a retired project manager for DuPont registered electrical engineer. He was a World War II Navy Air Corps veteran, retiring as lieutenant commander from the Navy Reserve, and a member of Bethesda Presbyterian Church. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Marguerite Clark Drawdy; his mother of Orangeburg; daughters, Mrs. Roger (Lyn) Becknell of Rockford, Ill., and Mrs. John (Laura) Mallerene of Kingston Springs, Tenn.; sisters, Mrs. Jewel D. Chavis of Orangeburg, Mrs. Iris D. Lohan of Waubay, S.D., Mrs. Bonnie D. Shearer of Walterboro, and Miss Saundra D. Courie of Columbia; brothers, C. F. Drawdy of Clinton, Ralph H. Drawdy of Orangeburg, and Phil A. Drawdy of Beach Island; and grandchildren. Services will be held at 10 a.m. today at Kornegay Funeral Home, Lugoff-Elgin Chapel, with burial in Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
