Barry Lee Phillips, 76, of Jacksonville, Florida, fell asleep in the Lord on Thursday, July 5, 2018. He was born February 16, 1942 in San Francisco, California. He is preceded in death by his wife of 53 years, Patsy Darlene Vaughn Phillips. He is survived by his son, Michael Phillips of Land O’ Lakes, FL; daughter, Dawn Walton (Doug) of Boston, VA; nine grandchildren, Joshua, Hannah Smith (Will), Andrew, Benjamin, Emily, Rose, Matthew, Daniel, and Joanna; great grandson, Liam; five nephews, Randy, Lance, Kent, Jackie, and Brent; seven nieces, Martha, Amy, Marsha, April, Jamie, Angela, and Danielle. He still worked full time for HRH Safety & Health Systems, Inc. as a safety consultant for the last 25 years. He was highly respected by many clients in the industry. He loved visits from his grandchildren tremendously. He enjoyed reading, discussing politics, was an avid history buff, and took much delight in growing his vegetable garden every year.
