He was survived by three sons: Shelby, Freddie, and Claude and one daughter, Trilby. He was survived by three sisters, Mrs. Claud Aspley, Mrs. Joe Eldon, and unknown sister. His sister Mary Duval Barriger died April 29, 1908, three days before him. She is buried in the grave next to him
