Also surviving are his maternal grandparents, Jamie Lynn Heffner and Clinton Wayne Tackett, paternal grandparents, Chad Moore and Rosemary Basquev, maternal great-grandparents, Darlene Tackett and Timothy Ramsey, and Lillie Heffner, paternal great-grandmother, Linda Hartzell Moore, aunts, Brianna (Jake) Harris, Marissa Tackett, Kaitlyn Moore, Rebecca Moore, and Caity (Josh) Weaver.
John was preceded in death by his maternal great-grandfather, Gary Wayne Tackett.
Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, July 9, 2018 at Evergreen Union Cemetery, Denver Road. Burial will follow in Evergreen Union Cemetery, Denver Road.
