He was a retired mechanic since 1965 and operated Crawford’s Used Cars in Drasco. He was a veteran of the United States Army and help establish the Drasco Fire Department and served as the departments President.
H. L. was preceded in death by his parents Roy Lee and Emaline Crawford, a son Wendell Crawford and a sister Helen Frazier. Survivors are his wife Betty Sue Howell Crawford, son Randy Crawford and wife Callie of Drasco, brothers Gene Crawford of Drasco and William Crawford of Greenbrier, sister Shirley Logan of Tumbling Shoals, grandsons Benjamin Crawford of Heber Springs and Dalton Crawford of Nebraska and two great grandsons Zek Crawford and Zak Crawford besides other relatives and many friends.
A visitation will be held on Monday, July 9, 2018 at Family Funeral Service starting at 9:00 A.M. and funeral services will be in the Family Funeral Service Chapel at 10:00 A.M. by Rev. Houston Ashley and Rev. Roger Harlin. Burial will be in Antioch Cemetery with Full Military Honors by American Legion Post #64 of Heber Springs.
Pallbearers will be Gene Crawford, William Crawford, Tim Logan, Brian Crawford, Dalton Crawford and Ben Crawford.
