Mr. Arthur Thurman Jennings, 73, of Winston-Salem passed away Friday, July 6, 2018 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home.

Arthur was born in Jefferson County, Alabama, to the late Vernon and Eula Walker Jennings on February 3, 1945.

Arthur was a talented Christian singer, songwriter and musician. He loved his furry companion "Savannah" who held a special place in his heart.

Along with his parents, Arthur was preceded in death by his parents; six siblings, Duane Jennings; Margaret Hackney; Elvis Jennings; Sarah Huie; Don Jennings and Bonnie Slack.

He is survived by three brothers, Charles Jennings (Pat); Fred Jennings (Shirley); Sam Jennings (Donna); two sisters, Mary Carswell (Bill) and Dorothy Tucker (Terry); several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held 12 noon, Saturday, July 14, 2018 at Union Cross Moravian Church, Family will receive friends 1 hour prior. Committal will follow after the service in the church graveyard.
