He was born Sept. 3, 1952, in Little Mahanoy Township, a son of the late John A. and Shirley M. (Lenig) Harris.
Randy was a lifelong resident of Hunter Station. He was a 1970 graduate of Line Mountain High School and also a graduate of Penn State University. He was last employed at Marvin Klinger Busing, Mandata.
Surviving are five sisters, Bonnie Strohecker and husband Irvin, of Middletown, Beverly Lucas and husband Ronald, of Halifax, Cindy Klinger and husband Ron, of Harrisburg, Brenda Snyder and husband Randy, of Trevorton, and Shirl Harris, of Shamokin; one brother, Ralph Harris, of Millersburg; two nieces and six nephews.
A visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 10 at the Robert G. Foust Jr. Funeral Home, 841 W. Shamokin St., Trevorton, followed by the funeral service at 11 with his nephew, Pastor Britt Strohecker officiating.
Burial will follow in Emmanuel Lutheran Cemetery, Hunter Sation.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Randy's memory to the local American Heart Association.
