Janie Lynn Autry, 71, of Gainesville passed away Friday, July 6, 2018 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center Braselton following a brief illness.

Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 8, 2018 at New Haven Congregational Holiness Church with Rev. Wayne Hicks, Rev. Terron Gentry, Rev. Gloria Farmer, Rev. Joey Allen, Rev. Mike Spence and Rev. Bobby Griffin officiating. Interment will be on Monday, July 9, 2018 at White Chapel Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at New Haven Church on Sunday, July 8, 2018 from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m.

Born on January 13, 1947 in Gainesville she was the daughter of the late Jewell and Cora Mae Clark. Janie was an ordained minister with The Congregational Holiness Church. She started preaching at the age of 11. She served for 60 years, 48 of those years alongside her husband, Rev. Billy Autry. A Beautiful Life, full of wisdom and adored by all who knew her.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Autry is preceded in death by her husband, Billy Autry; daughters, Rebecca Stovall and husband Randy, Sara Autry; brothers, Wayne Clark, James Clark, Lamar Clark.

Mrs. Autry is survived by her daughter and son in law, Debra and Rev. Terron Gentry of Gainesville; brothers and sisters in law, Guy and Glenda Clark of Dawsonville, Stevie and Tresa Clark of FL; grandchildren, Haven Gentry and Zion Stovall and a number of other relatives.
