Clarence Edward Howard, age 75, resident of Willard, Ohio, went to be with the Lord and loved ones on Friday, June 29, 2018, at Blossom Nursing and Rehabilitation in Willard surrounded by his loving family. He was born on August 28, 1942, in Magoffin County, Kentucky to the late Linzie and Sidney (Hicks) Howard. Clarence had worked at the Mansfield Brass in New Washington and enjoyed playing the drums. He founded Clarence Howard and the Renegades, and they had recorded 2 songs. Although he was unable to attend church regularly due to health issues, he enjoyed his Baptist faith.

He is survived by a daughter, Tracy Howard; 2 sons, David Howard (Brook), Andy Howard (Brook); 6 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; a sister, Augusta King of Greenville, PA; sister-in-law, Nadean Howard; brother-in-law, Bill King; and a numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Carloyn (Stackhouse) Howard; four brothers, Ray, Dennie, Donald, Arnold Howard and a sister, Traskie King.

Friends may gather at the Secor Funeral Home in Plymouth on Tuesday, July 3, 2018 from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM, where his funeral service will be at 1:00 PM with Elder Bill King, Elder Jim Owens and Brothers and Sisters of the Broadway United Baptist Church in Shelby, Ohio.
