Paul Thornburg, 93, Columbia, MO passed away on August 18, 2017 at Boone Hospital.
Funeral services were held on Wednesday, August 23, 2017 at the Memorial Funeral Home. Burial was in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Paul was born on June 22, 1924 in Tulsa, OK the son of Ernest Benjamin and Cloe E. (Green) Thornburg who preceded him in death. He met Melvine Jensen in high school and they were married at the age of 20, on August 4, 1944 in St. Louis, MO after the judge made him get a permission slip from his father saying he could do so. They moved to Houston, TX and raised their family.
Survivors include: the love of his life for the last 73 years, his wife Melvine Thornburg; two sons,one daughter, 7 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
