Terry was a homemaker for several years but then went on to work for Hayward Adult School as a computer technician from 1989 to 2004. Terry was a lifetime member of Hayward Full Gospel Temple.
Terry and Charles moved to Monument, Colorado where they remained until 2015, when they settled in Turlock. Terry was an accomplished pianist and loved crossword puzzles. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
She is survived by her husband, Charles Ellis; her children, Olivia (Chad) Englert, Connie (Charles) Butterfield and Donnie (David) Springer; and her grandchildren, Chas Butterfield, Lilly Springer, Amanda Englert, Wesley Butterfield, David Springer, Addisen Englert and Lucas Springer; her siblings, Thomas (Iva) Quillen, Charlotte Mallory and Connie (Cruz) Fragoza.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Oscar Quillen and Zelma Curtis Quillen; her grandson, Matthew Springer; and her brother-in-law, Sam Mallory.
Visitation will be held from 4pm to 7pm on Wednesday, July 11 at Allen Mortuary. A funeral service will be held at 10am on Thursday, July 12 also at Allen Mortuary.
Burial will follow at San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery.
