ZEBULON – Lois Rae Pace May, 87, passed into eternity with Jesus on Wednesday She was born in Nash County to the late Relmond Otis & Nevada Beard Pace. She received her Bachelors Degree from ECU but spent her life doing what she loved most, caring for her family. People found her to be a compassionate person and an excellent listener who had a smile for everyone. We grieve her loss but rejoice that she is now in heaven praising God.
Funeral 2 pm, Saturday, Social Plains Baptist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Hollis Bennie May, Jr., of the home, children; Greg May (Glenda) of Franklinton, Lisa Jefferys (Mike) of Youngsville, Suzanne Michele Deadwyler (Billy) of Youngsville, siblings; R. O. Pace, Jr. (Carol) of Sanford, Jaxie Vick of Ellijay, GA, grandchildren; Bradley Jefferys (Heather), Dana Summerfield (Dwight), Isaac May (Brittanie), Stef May, Micaela & Noah Deadwyler & 10 great grandchildren.
