A beloved son, brother, nephew, uncle and friend, Scott Clinton Curtis, 41, of Warrenton, VA passed away on February 12, 2013 in Houston, Texas. While his life ended much too soon, Scott accomplished and experienced more than most in his lifetime. An inquisitive lifelong learner, Scott double majored in Political Science and International Affairs and then went on to earn his Masters degree in International Affairs from Florida State University. In between his studies, Scott spent his summers as an intern for the Central Intelligence Agency, traveling abroad to Bangkok, Thailand and Europe as well as working at the American Consulate in Frankfurt, Germany

Scott spent the majority of his career as a College Business Administrator in Florida, California and Texas. When he wasn't working to improve the collegiate system, Scott could be found debating politics, doing the Seminole chop while watching FSU football games and doting on his dog, Charlie. Through his generous nature, extreme loyalty and wit, Scott touched the hearts of everyone he met.

He is survived by his parents, Jeanne Carter and Jeffrey Monroe Neeld; his biological father, Larry Curtis; sisters, Kimberly Curtis, Jennifer Neeld, Lindsey Neeld and Brooke Neeld-Nunn; his nephews, Zachary Stalls, Luke Stalls, and Jack Nunn. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Julian "Buck" and Pauline Carter; paternal grandparents, Hunter and Elinor Curtis.

A memorial in Scott's honor will be held at Moser Funeral Home on Saturday, February 23 from 3-5 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in honor of Scott to either The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (www.LLS.org) or CenterLink, The Community LGBT Centers (www.lgbtcenters.org)
