Jay Sheen Wright, 58, passed away on September 7, 2013 in Denton, Texas. He was born in Washington, D.C. on June 5, 1955 to Allen and Mary Wright. 

Wright married his best friend, Charlotte Ann (Looper) Wright in Aubrey, Texas on June 17, 2005. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran and worked for FEMA as a program analyst in Denton, Texas. 

Jay is survived by his wife, Charlotte Wright of Aubrey, a stepson and his wife, Harvey and Gina Redfearn, three grandsons, Charley, Gayvn, and Wyatt Redfearn who were his pride and joy.

Jay has a brother, John and his wife Nadine Wright of Chelmsford, Ma. and four sisters, Marijo Wilson of Aubrey, Lyn and her husband Steve Densmore of Elgin, Texas, Jan and her husband Larry Pope of Grandbury, Texas, and June Wright of San Antonio, TX. Jay is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Shell Wilson of Aubrey, Texas was his nephew and best bud. Jay was preceded in death by his parents, Allen and Mary Wright and one brother, Lee Wright.

The family will receive friends and loved ones on Thursday, September 12, 2013 from 6-8 PM at DeBerry Funeral Directors in Denton, Texas. Funeral Services will be Friday, September 13, 2013 at 2:00PM at First Rock Fellowship Church in Aubrey, Texas officiated by the Reverend Chris Walden. Burial will follow at Belew Cemetery in Aubrey.
