SYLVIA – Ray C. Roberts, Jr., 96, died July 4, 2018 at Good Samaritan Home, Hutchinson. Born March 31, 1922 he was the son of Ray Charles Roberts, Sr. and Lydia Elizabeth Smith Roberts. He was a retired Lieutenant for the Hutchinson Police Dept. He was a veteran of WW II serving with the Navy. He married Ethel Stuckey on June 14, 1942. She died June 8, 1952. He then married Mary Ellen Hudson February 9, 1985 at Sylvia. He is survived by his wife: Mary Ellen Roberts. Son: Chet Roberts and wife Jeanette. Daughters: Margaret Williams and Marsha Feezor and husband Kenneth. Brothers: Elmer Roberts and Delbert Roberts. Seven grandchildren. 16 great-grandchildren.
Memorial service will be 10:00 a.m., Monday, July 9 at Minnis Chapel, Stafford. Inurnment will be at Sylvia Cemetery. Memorials may be sent to the Good Samaritan Home in care of the funeral chapel.
