Joseph N. Finore, 95, of Toms River, NJ passed away on Friday June 30, 2017 at his home. Born in Brooklyn, NY, he lived there for many years before moving to Toms River over 25 years ago. Joseph was a veteran of the US Army having served in WW II. He was a supervisor of medical records for the VA Hospital in NYC, NY retiring in 1990. He was a communicant of St. Maximilan Kolbe RC Church, Toms River. Joseph was predeceased by his wife Emily. He is survived by his daughter Rosemarie Hayes and her husband Jerry; his sister Lucille Whitham; his grandchildren Johnny and Jackie Hayes; his niece Maria Cronan; his nephew, John P. Cronan: sister-in-law, Eleanor Bouillion and his dear friends Gloria and Julian Puma. Visiting hours will be held on Saturday July 8, 2017 from 8:30 AM to 9:00 AM at Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home 26 Mule Road, Toms River, NJ 08755. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 9:30 AM at St. Maximilian Kolbe RC Church, Toms River, NJ. Entombment will follow at Ocean County Memorial Park, Toms River.
