December 1875 (WJ)- George Churchill has traded his farm near Stamford for the Ezra Baird farm in Jefferson.

March 1892 (SM)- A number of Stamford young people who. had a pleasant' social time at the home of George Churchill last Wednesday evening, wish to thank him, through the columns of the Mirror, for his generous hospitality. The genial "Judge" as he is called, entertained them right loyally.

October 18, 1892 (SM)- Died- In the town of Jefferson, Oct 15, George Churchill, aged 63 years. Buried in Stamford cemetery.

George was Commissioner of Highways at the time of his death.

May 30, 1895 (JC)- John E. Jones, Marble and Granite dealer, of Jefferson, has recently sold a large tablet to Mrs. Geo. Churchill to be placed at the grave of her husband In the Stamford cemetery.
