Oak Ridge, TN

Sandra Faye Fallin Glover, 69, of Oak Ridge, passed away Tuesday, July 3, 2018 at Parkwest Medical Center in Knoxville after experiencing declining health with much courage and tenacity. She was born March 15, 1949 in Thomaston, Georgia, the daughter of Marion Alford Fallin, who preceded her in death and Virginia Boyt Fallin Rule, who survives her, of Oak Ridge. Sandra received her Bachelor of Science degree from Carson Newman College. She retired from Oak Ridge National Laboratory where she was a laboratory technician. From 1980 - 1987 Sandra embraced the roll of a music directors wife in his tenure at First Baptist Church of Oak Ridge and from 1987 - 1997 at First Baptist Church of Jefferson City. She was a faithful member of West Hills Baptist Church of Knoxville.

Much of her life in the past several years has centered around doctors, surgeries and health issues. Sandra looked forward to times when she could enjoy her hunt for antiques and collectibles from the past. She was an avid Hallmark ornament collector and enjoyed music. She was very family oriented, not only with her family and children, but also with the elders of her family. If she befriended you, you had a friend for life.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband of almost 52 years, David Mark Glover;

Daughter, April Glover Martin and husband Lyonel of Haleyville, AL; brother, David Rule and wife Karen of Alcoa; Tuck, her loyal canine companion and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family.

On Saturday, July 7, 2018, the family will have a reception and a receiving of friends from 1 -3pm at First Baptist Church of Oak Ridge. The Memorial Celebration will be held on Sunday at 12:15pm at West Hills Baptist Church of Knoxville with Rev. Drew Prince officiating. Family and friends will meet on Sunday at 4:00pm at Oak Ridge Memorial Park for a committal service. Memorials may be made to The CentuaryMen, c/o Rev.
