Mr. Stanley Mac Gorman, 79, of Lampasas, passed away on Wednesday, July 4, 2018, in Lampasas, Texas. Burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery in Navarro County.

Stanley was born in Navarro County, Texas, to the late Stanley Fletcher and Marguerite McMullan Gorman. He was a hard-working man and fatherly foundation to a large and loving family to the very end.

He was a born leader in all aspects of life, as an executive with Southwestern Bell and AT&T, a business owner, and a spiritual guide for so many. He taught his family the value of perseverance through hardship and adversity, no matter how difficult or heartbreaking your trials may be.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 39 years, Janeta Nell Sloan Gorman.

Survivors include his wife, Gay Gorman; children, Jan and husband, BB of, San Angelo, Stan Gorman and his wife, Linda, of Waller, and Brett Gorman and his wife, Breck, of Shallowater; grandchildren, Clifton and Summer Williams, and Kevin Williams; 11 great-grandchildren; sisters: Margie and Ted Taylor, of Corsicana, Debra Gorman, of Corsicana, and Melissa Woehleke, of Marlin; and numerous beloved nieces, nephews, and cousins.
