Mr. Ricky Keith Pope, age 52 of Rockmart, Georgia passed away Tuesday, September 30, 2014.
Mr. Pope was born on January 14, 1962 in Rockmart, son of Charles Pope and Patricia Ballew Pope. He was a graduate of the Rockmart High School Class of 1980 and was of the Baptist faith. He had been employed for the past 23 years by the Ball Corporation of Dandridge, Tennessee as a line mechanic. Ricky enjoyed fishing and working on cars and motorcycles. He had a great love for music, with a special love for a guitar. Mr. Pope was preceded in death by a brother, Mr. Felton (Coy) Pope.
Survivors include his wife, Sally Punkosdy Pope of Rockmart; two daughters, Destiny Pope and Morgan Pope both of Dothan, Alabama; parents, Charles and Patricia Pope of Rockmart; two brothers, Micky Pope and Mark Pope both of Rockmart; three grandchildren also survive.
No memorial services for Mr. Pope are planned at this time.
