Kathryn Diann Bowers, age 66, of Pekin, passed away Sunday, July 1, 2018 at 12:05 p.m. at the Richard L. Owens Hospice Home in Peoria.
She was born November 3, 1951 in Peoria to Samuel and Kathryn (Halfacre) Huggins. She married Thomas Bowers on December 23, 1977 in Peoria.
He survives along with two daughters: Karen (Richard) Duley and Tammy McLain; four grandchildren: Wayne Ratliff, Sarah Gibbons, Heather McLain ans Dakota McLain; and two great-grandchildren: Harlow Morris and Adam Salem.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one daughter, Priscilla Bowers.
Kathryn worked for the State of Illinois for 32 years retiring in 2011. She was of the Baptist faith and was a member of the Peoria Eagles Lodge # 265.
