Floyd Wayne Carter, 52, of Wynne, passed away Friday, March 3, 2017. He lived his life in Wynne, was born there November 28, 1964 and loved hanging out with his friends. He was a carpenter and worked remodeling homes. Floyd enjoyed fishing, hunting, sports and watching TV. His great nephew, Skyler, was his special little guy that he played with and wrestled with. He was of the Baptist belief and served in the Navy.
Floyd is survived by his mother Sudie Walker; sister, Martha White; nieces, April Carter and Jessika White; and great nephew, Skyler Carter.
Preceding him in death is his father, Luther Carter; great niece, Skye McMaster; and great nephew Dalton Carter. He also leaves behind many wonderful friends, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral services will be Friday, March 10, at 1:00pm, at Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home with Pastor Rickey Williams officiating. Serving as pallbearers are Bubba McClain, Richard Detsee, George Golden, Brooks Gresham, Jr. Cannon, Brad Stutts and Kenneth Jones. Tanner Elliott will serve as honorary bearer. Interment follows at Holly Springs Cemetery outside of Harrisburg.
