Sophia Jewell (Farris) Jones, 94 of Clarksville, passed away from this life Monday, July 2, 2018 at her home. S

he was the daughter of the late Alma Rhett Farris and Roy Farris, and born January 17, 1924 in Jamestown.

She was a retired beautician of 35 years and a member of First Landmark Missionary Baptist church of Clarksville.

Sophia is survived by her husband of 75 years, Ulus Jones; two daughters, Anita Caldwell and husband Dale of Clarksville; Belinda Sanford of Ozark, AR.; grandsons: Clayton (Amy) Caldwell of Hunt and Jamey Knuckles of Ozark, AR.; four great grandchildren: Adeline, AnaJewel, Rhett Caldwell, and Jacob Knuckles.

Visitation will be 9:00 – 10:00 A.M. Friday, July 6, 2018 at the Roller-Cox Funeral Home Chapel.

Mrs. Jones’s funeral service will be held 10:00 A.M. Friday, July 6, 2018 at Roller-Cox Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor David Wright and Pastor Doyle Caldwell officiating.

Burial will follow in the Oakland cemetery with J.W. Bly, Claude Bly, Virgil Don Knight, Phillip Taylor, David Handley, Mike Jacobs, John Daniel, and Juan Ortega serving as Pallbearers.

Arrangements are under the direction of Roller-Cox Funeral Home Clarksville, AR
