Funeral services for Mr. Ryan Edward Parker will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, July 6, 2018 at Rush Funeral Home, Oberlin, with Reverend Greg Willis officiating. Interment will follow in Oaklin Springs Cemetery under the direction of Rush Funeral Home, Oberlin.
Mr. Parker, 39, of Oberlin, entered eternal rest on Sunday, July 1, 2018 at Rapides Regional Medical Center in Alexandria, LA.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Corey Parker; his paternal grandparents, Wilbur Lee and Bonnie Bell Parker and his maternal grandfather, Julius Winn.
Those left to mourn his loss and cherish his memory include one son, Justin Ryan Parker, of Odessa, TX.; parents, Greg and Debbie Parker, of Oberlin; one sister, Ashley Pilley and her husband, Kyle, of Kinder; maternal grandmother, Sis Winn, of Oakdale; one niece, Cora Pilley, of Kinder and two nephews, Levi Parker, of Burr Ferry and Lane Parker, of Kingsland, GA.
Friends may call at Rush Funeral Home, Oberlin, from 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 5, 2018. Visitation will resume on Friday, July 6, 2018 at 8:00 a.m. until time of service.
Pallbearers honored to serve are: Johnny Johnson, Jeremy Johnson, Jeremy Manuel, Chad Byrd, Dwayne Brown and Dillon Johnson. Honorary Pallbearers will be Cody Johnson and Trenton Patrick.
