SIERRA VISTA - Katherine (Carolyn) Kelley passed away on May 19, 2018, after living a long, beautiful life.
Carolyn was a wife to an Army soldier and lived in many places in her lifetime, including Germany and Japan. She was happily married to the love of her life for 62 amazing years.
She was proud to have been a "Harvey Girl," as well as a member of the Women's Army Corps (WAC). She was also able to share her love of reading as a librarian at the Children's Library on Ft. Huachuca.
Carolyn had three children, four grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Ed; son, Chuck; grandson, Michael; and brother, David.
Carolyn is survived by her brother, Bill (Carolyn) Beck; daughter, Kathy Lahring; son, Mike (Sue) Kelley; grandkids: Brett (Krystal) Lahring, Amber Lahring, and Michelle Kelley; and her 4 great-grandchildren: Elise, Emery, Allison, and Emily.
Services will be held at the Sierra Lutheran Church on Lenzner at 10:00 a.m. on July 11, followed with military honors on post at 11:30 a.m.
