Mr. Garner had a Huckleberry Finn childhood, as a young boy he hunted and fished the Cache River with his brother, Cecil and also hunted coon. He was a 1960 graduate of the Laura Connor High School of Augusta and married Miss Frances Lee on September 7, 1962 where they had spent 55 years together. He was loved by all that knew him and always went above and beyond to help those in need.
