Mr. Hames died Friday, Sept. 29, 2006, at Huntsville Hospital. He was born Jan. 20, 1958, in Morgan County to Claude Hames and Mary Collins Hames.
Survivors include his wife of eight years, Mary Elizabeth Hames; his mother, Mary Poteete; three sons, Bobby Joel Hames Jr., Jason Watson and Chris Watson; one brother, Tommy Edwards; three sisters, Peggy Phillips, Faye Campbell and Pam Hessler; and grandson, Hunter Watson.
Pallbearers will be Bobby Basshound, Sammy Larimore, Ricky Phillips, Patrick Morrison, Sammy Larimore Jr. and James Walker.
