Patricia (O'Brien) Dickinson, 83, of Johns Creek, Ga., formerly of Mendon, died Monday, Dec. 18, 2017.
She was born Nov 21, 1934, in Quincy, to William and Thora Tanner O'Brien. She attended Mendon schools and graduated from Unity High School in 1952. She was joined in marriage to B. W. Dickinson on April 7, 1957, at the Christian Church of Ursa.
She was a member of First Christian Disciples of Christ Church. She resided in the tri-state area until 1981, subsequently moving to Carrollton, Texas, Freehold, N.J., Lawrenceville, Ga., and Fresno, Calif., living there for 30 years, where Pat was active in the Newcomers Auxiliary and enjoyed her monthly luncheons, coffees, and bunco group. In October 2016 Pat and Bev moved to be with their daughter.
Pat is survived by her husband of 60 years, B.W.; two sons, Charles W. of Carrollton, Craig W. and wife Debra of Kingwood, Texas; daughter, Cathy A. Puechner and husband, Richard J. of Johns Creek; grandsons, Craig Dickinson of Van, Texas, Mitch Puechner of Johns Creek; granddaughters, Megan (Alan) Dike of Van and Rachael Puechner of Houston; great-grandsons, Zaydin Dickinson and Drifter Dike, both of Van.
SERVICES: 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 27, at Hunter Funeral Home with the Rev. Jerry Brown conducting. Burial will be in New Providence Cemetery.
VISITATION: 4 to 6 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 26, at the funeral home.
MEMORIALS: In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorials to the donor's preference.
