Jeff was a graduate of Tecumseh High School class of 1973. During his high school years Jeff was a very gifted and accomplished cross country and track star, as he held numerous high school records.
Jeff proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. He was a member of St. Elizabeth Catholic Church in Tecumseh and was very active with his mother at the Food Bank at St. Joseph Catholic Church and the Serenity House in Adrian. Jeff was an avid Harley rider and loved to go camping. He enjoyed spending time with his family. He was known for his outgoing personality and his loving smile.
In addition to his mother Beverly, he is survived by two brothers, William (Melissa) Berry of Tipton and Kenneth (Mary) Berry of Adrian; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, William Berry, Sr. and a nephew Brandon.
A Memorial Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 10, 2018 at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church with Fr. Daniel Wheeler as celebrant. Military honors under the auspices of American Legion Post #34 and VFW Post #4187 will take place after the mass. Burial of the cremains will be in Lenawee Hills Memorial Park at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to Food Bank at St. Joseph and Serenity House. A gathering of family and friends will take place after the service at the St. Elizabeth Parish Hall.
