Wanda Jean Daniels, 02/12/1959 - 07/03/2018

Waynesville- Wanda Jean Stephens Daniels, 59 of Waynesville, passed away Tuesday (July 3, 2018) at her residence following an extended illness.

Born in Fort Payne, AL., her parents were William Thomas Stephens and Maggie Alice Burries. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Faye Hunter.

Wanda was a member and choir leader of Palmetto Pentecostal Church and loved singing at church and fishing. She worked many years as a cashier at the Piggly Wiggly.

Survivors include her husband of 45 years, James Daniels, Sr., of Waynesville; 4 children, Sheila Head (Chad), of Waverly, James "Jamie" Daniels, Jr. , of North Carolina, Jonathan Daniels, of Waynesville, and Joanie Cox of Brantley County; 9 grandchildren, Tyler Head, Zachary Head, Bradyn Head, Maggie Head, Christian "Bubba" Cox, Brooklyn Cox ,Alexis Johns, Amory Daniels, and Ayden White; 5 sisters and a brother-in-law, Daisy Mae "Patsy" Cobb, of Ft. Payne, AL., Barbara Lemond, of Social Circle, GA., Pauline "Polly" Parker, of Lake Wales, FL., Brenda McKinney, also of Lake Wales, FL., and Tina Lucas (Glenn), of Clanten, AL.; brother and sister-in-law, William "Bill" Stephens (Myrna), of Lake Wales, FL. Also several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and a host of friends.

Visitation will be held Friday (July 6, 2018) starting at 6PM at Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta.

A Funeral Service will be held Saturday (July 7, 2018) at 11AM at Palmetto Pentecostal Church with Rev. Bill Johns and Rev. Charles Florey officiating.

Burial will follow in Daniels Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Lonnie Spradley, James Spradley, Dalton O'Neal, Joshua Daniels, Robert Daniels, and William Rousey.

Family and Pallbearers are asked to meet at the Church by 10:30AM Saturday.

Family will be receiving friends at her residence; 53 Oakdale Rd. Waynesville, GA 31566.

Arrangements are with Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta.
