Patty Street Hale, 73, of Drum Hill Road, Corapeake, NC, passed from this earthly life to her heavenly home to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, July 2, 2018, following a brief illness.
Mrs. Hale was born in Buchanan County, VA on November 4, 1944, and was the daughter of the late Floyd and Lona Blankenship Street.
A homemaker, she was a member of Reynoldson Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Wendell “Sharkey” Hale; a sister, Sue Meadows; a brother, Don Street; a brother-in-law, Tommy Hale; and by two granddaughters, Jordan and Morgan.
Surviving are her three sons, Dallas Hale of Corapeake, Danny Hale and wife, Vicki B., of Gates, and Terry Hale and wife, Kim L., of Elizabeth City; a sister, Doris Kruty of Culpepper, VA; a brother, Bobby Street and wife, Faye, of Oakwood, VA; a sister-in-law, Jerilyn Hale of Poquoson, VA; a brother-in-law, Roger Meadows of Honaker, VA; eight grandchildren, Jeff, Sarah, Eric, Keith, Kody, Sebastian, Skylar, and Sasha; two great-granddaughters, Lilly and Riley; and a special family friend, Mary McCoy.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 3:00 p.m. in Reynoldson Baptist Church, and will be conducted by the Rev. Cody Brinkley and Pastor Ricky Byrum. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Friends may join the family Thursday from 7 to 8 p.m. in Miller Funeral Home.
