Lillie Mae Roland, 80, passed away Tuesday, July 3, 2018 at a local hospital. A celebration of her life will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, July 6, 2018 at Snow’s Memorial Chapel, Pio Nono with burial in Evergreen Cemetery. Pastor Brian Cameron will officiate. The family will meet friends from 6 – 8 p.m., Thursday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Roland, wife of the late Curtis Lamar Roland, was born in Forsyth, the daughter of the late James and Dora Annis. Mrs. Roland was the sister of the late Sara Kent, Cornelia Jones and James B. Annis, Jr. She was a member of White Oaks Free Will Baptist Church , AARP and OES. Mrs. Roland was a life member of D.A.V.A. McCrary Adams Unit #9, AMVETS Auxiliary #10, Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary #658, was SGT at Arms, State DAVA and Commander of DAVA Unit #9. Above all else, she was a devoted homemaker, mother, grandmother, great grandmother who on a rotating basis spent a weekly stay with each of her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by those she loved most, her children, Debra Jones, Rhonda (David) Jones, Keith (Penny) Roland, Glenda (Randy) Davidson and adopted daughter, Lisa Davidson; grandchildren, Tiffany Davidson, Ashley (Lauren) Davidson – Bibaud, Nicki (Chris) Jones and Jason (Courtney) Jones, Keith (Kristen) Roland and Michael Jones; great grandchildren, Jaden Jones, Keeleigh Jones, Anabelle Jones; sister, Edna Padgett; brother, Harrie (Jean) Annis and numerous nieces and nephews.
