Billy “Bill” Earp, 77, of Colcord, Oklahoma, died July 25, 2015, at St. Francis Hospital, Tulsa, Oklahoma. Born August 9, 1937, in Colcord, Oklahoma, he was the son of Otto Samuel and Edna Serene (Sims) Earp. Bill and Phyllis Wofford were married June 6, 1964. He was life long resident of Colcord and graduated from Colcord High School in 1955 and Northeastern State University. Bill was the head basketball coach, served as principal and assistant Athletic Director, for the Colcord School District, in addition he drove a school bus for many years.
Survivors include his wife Phyllis of the home; son Jarrod Earp and wife Melissa of Colcord, Oklahoma; daughter Cindi Wiles and husband A.J. of Colcord, Oklahoma; 7 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Thursday, July 30, 2015, at Colcord Hornet Arena, Colcord, Oklahoma. Burial will follow in Row Cemetery, Colcord, Oklahoma. Visitation will be 6:00 p.m. to 8:00p.m., Wednesday, July 29, 2015, at Wasson Funeral Home, Siloam Springs, Arkansas.
