Michael James Valentine, 60 of Int'l Falls MN passed away on monday afternoon, October 20, 2014 at his home. Michael was born on April 20 1954 in Int'l Falls to James and Donna Valentine. He graduated from Falls High School in 1972 and attended Rainy River community college and Hennepin County community Vo Tech. He was a life long resident of Int'l Falls. Michael served in the U.S.Navy from 1973 to 1977. He married Paula Gunther on September 16, 1972 in the Falls Michael worked as a welder-pipefitter and was part of the pipefitters local 589 union. He loved hunting, fishing and and spending time at the hunting shack and on Rainy Lake. Michael love his grandchildren which were his pride and joy. He was preceded in death by his Mother Donna Valentine and son Joshua James Valentine. He is survived by his father James Valentine of Ericsburg MN, two sons Jesse (Kelli) Valentine and Lucas (Sarah)Valentine both of Int'l Falls. Nine grandchildren, Krystal, Tyler, Dustin, Korie, Taylor, Savannah, Adien, Austin, and Camoren. Sisters, Betty (Jay) Mitchell of Int'l Falls,Cindy (Darwin)Sanden of Badger,MN, and Toni (Don)Dunbar of Ericsburg MN, Services will be held Friday, October 24th at 11;00 AM at the Elks Lodge in Int'l Falls, MN WITH Military honors. Memorials would be preferred to the VA MC Fisher house in Minneapolis in his memory. Interment at Ray cemetery
