Mrs. Steele had been a resident of the Rochester area for 26 years and was a member of the First Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband: three daughters, Mrs. Sylvia Rupp of Big Beaver, Mrs. Mary Bishop, Washington, and Mrs. Gladys Thomas of Rochester: four sons, Harold Ott of Grand Rapids, Oho, Harvey Ott of Almont, Lawrence Ott, Pontiac, and Bennie Ashton of Delaware: 24 grandchildren and five great grandchildren. A brother, John Bubb of Clyde, Ohio, and several nieces and nephews also survive.
