Beloved husband, father and grandfather passed away Tuesday, June 26, 2018 at Healthsource Saginaw. Age 77 years. The son of the late Donovan and Idabelle (Hartjes) Moreland, Gary was born November 12, 1940 in Appleton, Wisconsin. He married Kathleen Rowland on July 15, 1961. She survives him. Gary was employed at Sears for 23 years until his retirement. He coached numerous sports and served as athletic director at St. Thomas Aquinas School for many years. Gary was strong in his faith and was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church. He owned and operated the Clown Connection for 35 years. Family was very important to Gary. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
Surviving are his wife Kathleen; three children, Kelly and John Ketchum; Kevin and Kara Moreland; Kristin and Tim Novak; eight grandchildren, Isabelle, Chloe, Abby, Aron, Kailey, Kelsey, Max and Jack; several nieces and nephews. Gary was preceded in death by a sister, Merigail Pellegrinelli.
Honoring Mr. Moreland's wishes, cremation has taken place.
