She was born on May 24, 1919 in Buncombe County, the daughter of the late George W. and Cora R. Fisher Boyd. Also preceding her in death was her husband, Troy Edward Smith; three brothers; and a sister.
She was survived by one daughter & son-in-law; 3 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
