Death Claims Mrs. Andrews (Anders): Aged Resident Found Dead In Bed Early This Morning

Mrs. Betty Andrews (Anders) was found dead in bed at her residence in Gurley. She had been ill for the last few days but condition was not thought to be serious.

Survivors: husband, C.A. Anders; seven sons: Jim, Tom, and Erskine of Huntsville; Frank, Walter, Ben, and Bernie of Gurley; Sam of Tullahoma, Tenn.; one daughter: Mrs. W.H. Berry of Huntsville; 33 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Funeral services conducted from the residence and interment made in Bethel cemetery near New Hope.

Mrs. Anders was a member of the Primitive Baptist church.

Elizabeth aka Betty Maroney Anders was the daughter of John A. and Betty Maroney of Marshall County, Alabama.
