Mr. Celestin d'Eon died early Saturday morning, 15 December, at Yarmouth Hospital, where he had been admitted about 10 days ago.

Age 91 years and 7 months, the deceased was the son of late Mr. and Mrs. Dominique d'Eon, Upper West Pubnico, and had always lived with his brother, Vincent. Since the death of the latter, a few years ago, he has lived with his nephews. He leaves a brother, Cyriac, of Peabody, Mass, and a sister, Mrs. Alice d'Entremont of Lower West Pubnico, age 93.

The funeral was Sunday afternoon at St. Pierre Church, Mgr Thomas LeBlanc, parish priest, officiant. Pallbearers were Henri, Augustin and Leon d'Eon, Walter Amirault, Elie and Benoit d'Entremont.
